Choices exist between renting a whole building for a large family with children, who use it as home away from home, enjoying their own kitchen, spacious lounges, bedrooms with modern attached bathrooms, internet, view balconies etc. or, independent two- bedroom flats with  kitchen, lounge and attached bathrooms. Hiring of individual rooms with attached bathrooms is also available.

The resort is located within a few minutes drive of the famous wild life reserve of Dachigam and the attractive picnic spot of the Harwan reservoir and park. The resort is perched about 2000 ft above the famous Dal Lake. It takes a few minutes to drive down to the Lake or to the famous Moghul gardens dotted around it. The Shalimar, Nishat and Chashma Shahi (Royal Springs) gardens are within a few minutes drive of each other.  Shikara rides and water sports in the lake are very popular with the visitors. Palatial house boats in the lake are also available for a single nightly sojourn. Asia’s largest tulip gardens in the vicinity of Chashma Shahi is also a site not to be missed. Trips to  famous Gulmarg, Pahalgam, Sonmarg, Yusmarg, Mansbal can be arranged through our management. During winter months, groups of skiers wishing to visit the Gulmarg ski resort , establish their base in Srinagar, for daily trips to the ski resort.

The management team of the resort delivers 24 hour service to the guests. The resort is located very near shops, a baker, grocer, chemist, butcher and other such trades. Guests can interact with locals living nearby to get a feel for Kashmiri life.

Although there has never been any incident or problem of security in the recent past, but still 24 hour surveillance is provided by a number of CCTV cameras, linked to the management team.
